Why is it important to change your BMW spark plugs?

For the E90/E92/E93 M3 with the S65 engine and also the E60/E61 M5 & E63/E64 M6 with the S85 engine, spark plug sevicing is vital. The spark plugs act as a sensor by detecting the ionic resistance during combustion. This goes back to the monitoring system which talks to the ECU. Old spark plugs removed and replaced with new OEM. If your car is remapped, uprated NGK plugs are also available at an additional cost.
