We still love the older BMW models, with them providing a driving experience that is so different to newer cars. One thing we do miss from the current models is the ability to have wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the Mr12Volt box this problem is solved, bringing the car up-to-date with full functionality of both systems. This means you can have your phone connected for music, podcasts, navigation and also phone calls. All whilst being able to operate it using the original iDrive controller.

By utilising the MOST Bus there is no loss in audio quality, and the built in DSP means you can tweak the audio settings to get the most out of your speakers.

The full functionality of the original iDrive system is retained along with the original iDrive display.

Designed for vehicles equipped with BMW CIC and the MOST fiber optic audio system, this interface integrates directly with the factory display, iDrive controller, and amplifier through the digital MOST network.

⚠ Important Installation Notes

• The BMW must have OEM Bluetooth hands-free installed in order to use the factory microphone. Otherwise an external microphone is required (not included).

• If a factory CD changer is fitted, it must be disabled or bypassed during installation.

• BMW E-Series platforms:

If no factory CD changer is fitted, no coding is required.

MR12volt automatically activates the CD/MP3 option after successful installation.

• BMW F-Series platforms:

If no factory CD changer is fitted, CD/MP3 coding is required.

MR12volt does not automatically activate the CD/MP3 option on F-Series vehicles.

• Select CD in the media source menu to launch the MR12volt interface

• MR12volt simulates the factory CD changer

• Once launched, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are controlled through the BMW iDrive controller
