Fitment: BMW G20, G21, G22, G23, G26 Gen 3 M340i, M440i 2025+
Our Gen 3 B58 intake builds on our acclaimed G20 B58 system, updated specifically for the 2025+ platform. The design focuses on two key factors for turbocharged engines: maximising airflow while minimising intake temperatures.
With the intake positioned close to the exhaust manifold, effective heat management is critical. Our fully sealed airbox isolates the intake from engine-bay heat and incorporates a gold-reflective heat shield to reduce radiant heat transfer. During development, we also identified an additional opening into the wheel arch, allowing us to introduce a secondary fresh-air feed to increase airflow into the sealed airbox.
The airbox is maximised in volume within the available space, with a recessed section to accommodate potential strut braces. A smooth carbon fibre intake tube replaces the factory convoluted design, starting at 111 mm (4.4″) internal diameter and smoothly tapering to the OEM turbo elbow for an uninterrupted flow path.
Completing the system is a custom high-flow dry filter with a larger filtration area than stock and ISO-tested filtration performance.
The result is an intake system engineered to deliver the B58 turbocharger a cooler, higher-volume and less restrictive supply of air.
