Security

From 2018, the M140i was built with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF/OPF), which noticeably muffles the exhaust note. This non-resonated (louder) system replaces everything after the filter and restores a much fuller sound.

Please note: For OPF/GPF-equipped models only. The factory particulate filter is retained.
