The design focuses on two key factors for turbocharged engines: maximising airflow while minimising intake temperatures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith the intake positioned close to the exhaust manifold, effective heat management is critical. Our fully sealed airbox isolates the intake from engine-bay heat and incorporates a gold-reflective heat shield to reduce radiant heat transfer. During development, we also identified an additional opening into the wheel arch, allowing us to introduce a secondary fresh-air feed to increase airflow into the sealed airbox.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe airbox is maximised in volume within the available space, with a recessed section to accommodate potential strut braces.
