Sports cat versions replace a factory emissions device, are not EC homologated and may not meet emissions laws for road use. Valved versions retain the factory exhaust valves, so the tone still changes between quieter and louder settings as you switch drive modes. Non-valved versions remove the exhaust valves, so the sound will no longer change with drive modes.
